Damien Pinkett (he/him) is a man of God and a son whose heart arcs towards justice. He’s passionate about equitable public health, and earned a Masters in both Biological Sciences and Public Health to better serve the communities most affected by health inequity, inequality, and injustice. As an experienced Black healthcare professional committed to transforming the patient-healthcare system, he focuses on ending health disparities by improving the health and quality of life of minority populations, particularly, Black and Brown communities and other marginalized populations as well.

Pinkett’s upbringing shaped his passion for community development. He grew up in the foster care system until the Pinketts adopted him. Witnessing socioeconomic disparities between Southeast D.C. (where he was born) and Prince George’s County (where he was raised) gave him a vested interest in the homeless population, domestic and sexual assault survivors, autistic children, diabetic patients, cancer patients, and other underserved communities.

The Pinkett Foundation (TPF) began as a seed, and has taken root to embody a longstanding commitment to community-oriented primary care. From medical mission trips to Haiti to providing water during the summer to the homeless, and socks during the fall, TPF’s founder is an activist, philanthropist, and scientist who nurtures its mission for the greater health of the nation’s most overlooked communities.

Kind Regards.
